Welcome to the era of the Swine Flu, also known as H1N1…

My daughter got swine flu in November 2009 and it was awful.  She couldn’t eat or drink for days.  Lifeless and barely conscious.

We took her to the doctor — H1N1.  The swine had attacked!

Our doctor didn’t seem too worried, he prescribed some meds and sent her home with us.

She would recover over the next couple of days but my experience made me decided I needed to do something.  Because the FLU SUCKS!

So, I started this website.  I am not sure what to make of it yet…  A little bit angry (I hate the flu), a little bit funny (swine flu – that sounds hilarious), and a little bit educational.

Ironically, as I start this site, I myself am starting to feel the flu-like symptoms.  Uh, oh!  I may be writing soon to telly you that I have H1N1.  We will see!
